How are the swing levels measured?
Each day's level is its largest change in sea-level pressure within 24 hours: Steady under 3 hPa, Low 3 to 6, Moderate 6 to 10, High 10 to 15, Very high above 15. A whole day leaves out the small rise and fall the air makes twice every day, so only real weather counts.
Why does my diary show no pattern?
Isobar compares how often you logged headaches at each swing level once there are at least 14 days with pressure data on both calm and swinging days. Many people find a clear link, some find none, and both are worth knowing. Keep logging; patterns can take a few weeks to show.
Is Isobar medical advice?
No. Isobar shows weather data and your own diary. Talk to a doctor about headaches that are new, severe or changing.
How do I cancel Isobar Plus?
In the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Isobar. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends. To get Plus back on a new device, use Restore Purchases in Isobar's settings.
Alerts don't arrive
Allow notifications for Isobar in the Settings app, then turn the morning alert on in Isobar. Alerts are made on your iPhone from the latest forecast, so open Isobar now and then or keep Background App Refresh on.
